To my dear Uncle Vern and Cousins,

My heart is with you as Aunt Luana passes through the veil and into the loving embrace of eternity. I’ve been holding a good thought in mind for each of you—just as my mother taught me—letting fond memories rise gently to the surface and reminding myself of the enduring Spirit that binds our family across generations.

That same Spirit, steady and eternal, brings me comfort. I know it brings you comfort too. We are connected—always—and that love does not diminish with distance or with time.
