Janice T. Cannon

Janice T. Cannon, MSW, is a dedicated social work professional with over 20 years of experience in human services. Currently, she works in the Office of Student Support at CU Anschutz and runs a private practice, Repair and Restore, where she facilitates personal growth and healing for her clients. Her previous roles include Division Manager of Benefits and Community Support at Larimer County Human Services and Assistant Director at New Hanover County Department of Social Services, where she developed impactful prevention programs for child welfare. With expertise in crisis intervention, community partnerships, and process improvement through LEAN techniques, Janice has made significant contributions to the field. Additionally, she spent 35 years in ministry with her husband, Hosea Cannon Jr., and serves on the board of Adams County CASA. Janice holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Denver and is currently ABD (All But Dissertation) in her Ph.D. program at Colorado State University, reflecting her commitment to advocacy and effective service delivery in social work.
